Charter FAQ

How many people can I bring?

Each charter has its own set of capacity restrictions, so please refer to the section of the charter you're considering.

What do I need to bring?

At a minimum, just yourself! (and any guests) Because these are private charters, we strive to provide all the basics needed. If there are any items you'd like to bring that will enhance your experience, you're more than welcome to, so long as they're legal items. If you have questions or concerns, reach out to your guide directly for clarification.

What happens after I book?

You're locked in and ready to roll! Within just a few minutes you'll receive a receipt and booking confirmation via email and text, along with arrival instructions and full contact details for your guide. If you need anything, have questions, or need to discuss another matter, you'll have access to call and/or text your fishing guide.

What if I need to cancel or get a refund?

Due to the very limited nature of this guided charter, refunds are not offered. However, we will gladly offer credit towards a charter on another day should something unforeseen arise for you and you have to cancel, although there are no guarantees to how fast this will happen, due to the first come first served nature of these charters. BEFORE BOOKING be sure your plans are firm and you're confident the date and time you're booking will work great for you.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes! Feel free to pack yourself a cooler with non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and food. If you have any questions about drink or food items, contact your charter guide directly after booking.

What kind of fish will I be able to catch?

The Cumberland river is home to a variety of fish species. The most common are: Smallmouth Bass, Catfish, Striped Bass, Sauger, Trout, Bluegill, and even Crappie. If you have any specific questions about what you'll be fishing for during a particular season, reach out to your charter guide directly after booking.

What if I show up late?

If you're running late, please reach out to your charter guide ASAP. If you've booked the entire charter during your time slot, you're not in danger of being left. However, if you're party to a mixed charter with other customers, you run the risk of missing departure. If you're late to a departure and miss your charter, understand that there are no refunds.
